Our mission is to support shelters operating along the Costa Verde, the Green Coast of Northern Spain. The shelters we partner with hold a pivotal role in the compassionate rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs who have faced surrender, neglect, and abandonment. Our dedication is to ensure the well-being and future of these dogs in collaboration with our valued shelter allies.
Our Team
Nick
Founder
Nick has been transporting rescue dogs from Spain since 2016. In 2022 he decided to embark on a journey to use his knowledge and experience in rescue to help a shelter in need.
That idea created Green Coast Adoptions and a partnership with Xea, a shelter in Northern Spain.
Nick completes the Home check interviews and is a point of contact for post adoption support, including RBU.
Rebecca
Admin
Rebecca first adopted a Spanish rescue dog in 2022 and has been involved in fostering work with rescues since then.
With 6 dogs of her own, she is well suited to understand the dog universe and all it’s complexities!
Rebecca primarily deals with social media, general enquiries and processing the background paperwork.
Vikki
Rehoming Specialist
Vikki has her own pack of adopted dogs and has been helping Rescue services rehome dogs for a number of years.
Vikki’s wealth of knowledge ensures that each dog is placed in the right home and any issues that may occur, can be solved.
Vikki processes the adoption applications, completes the adoption interviews and is a point of contact for post adoption support, including RBU.
